Introducing it so that you get used to it.

table_card_reader!ATTENTION!

If you start to see one of these in your local GP it is because they are introducing it so you can get used to it!

It has nothing to do with charging immigrants to use GP’s as suggested by Jeremy Hunt or charging you a tenner for you to use your GP as suggested by the “independent” think-tank Reform. Nope, it is all about getting you used to parting with your 110011010001 so that they can push for full-scale privatisation. It is modelled on the boiling frog theory, do it gradually and no one will kick back.

boiling frog theory

A question we could ask is just how independent the think-tank Reform is? They say: “Reform is a non-party think tank whose mission is to set out a better way to deliver public services and economic prosperity. Our aim is to produce research of outstanding quality on the core issues of the economy, health, education and law and order and on the right balance between government and individual.” taken from the Reform about page and claim be a non-party group as their contributions come from across the three major political parties. Recent speakers make for interesting reading:

Recent speakers for Reform have included:

  • Rt Hon Andy Burnham MP and Rt Hon Sadiq Khan MP (Labour);
  • Rt Hon Theresa May MP and Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP (Conservative);
  • Rt Hon Danny Alexander MP and Norman Lamb MP (Liberal Democrat).

A kind of poacher turned game keeper kind of list save one or two. Then there is Andrew Haldenby, the founder and director of Reform who was in fact worked in the Conservative  Research Department back in 1995-1997. It might be too easy to say his views are steeped in Conservatism bias, a company run by people who worked for the Conservative Party can hardly be relied upon for their impartial views on subjects such as the outsourcing and privatisation of our public services, when that has been Tory policy since the heady days of Margaret Thatcher!

The bottom line is if you ever see one of these than refuse to pay, you already pay national health insurance and have had the NHS built up over the decades by yourselves, your parents and your grandparents. Do not forget that the NHS saved your life and will do again, maybe many times over the course of our lives, now it’s time to #saveournhs. From cradle to grave

THE MADHOUSE has been overrun and they have left a calling card. A toy plastic credit card.

Britain-s-Trillion-Pound--006

The Early Learning Center toy where your child can learn everything about money except for the fact that it is not real to begin with, or that the plastic your children are playing with actually has more intrinsic value than the digital numbers floating around the ether that determines whether people eat or not because it is the byproduct of a million years of fossilised flora and fauna.

The Early Learning Center toy comes complete with plastic money and credit card, where your child can learn about money and how to get in to debt with their plastic friend, not taking in to consideration the fact they were £73,000 in debt before they were even born. Of course, these toys are hardly new but there is something genuinely crazy about the way the world is going.

A meme sprang up this month of a bag of 100 plastic pennies worth more than $3 (or £2 something) which questioned the sanity of paying more for fake money than the value of its real life equivalent.  I just could not get my head around this and thought it was an early April Fool’s, so I took to the Internet to find out the truth and this is when I found the new credit card toy from the Early Learning Center and had a mini meltdown.

If only I had just gone to bed.

The sad thing is that parents really feel that they are doing their kids a favour by purchasing this crap and calling it educational, but we cannot criticise because they mostly know no better themselves about the truth of money and so the cycle continues. It is a 360 degree immersive advertising campaign, designed to do one thing; ensure perpetual debt slavery.

The problem comes when people have become so embedded in the lie that it makes it hard for them to see the truth, that the monetary system they put so much trust in is just a ponzi scheme, built on debt and that mortgage defaults and bankruptcy are inherently built into it. The only reason it endures is because of the blind faith we as a society have put in it. It is the reason we have austerity, library closures, cuts and closures to our emergency services and privatisation of our NHS. You couldn’t make it up.

The first step to breaking free from our chains is to first see that we are imprisoned. A good start would be the group Positive Money, another would be this video by Peter Joseph from The Zeitgeist movement in 2008.

Right now I am going to get my head and just remember that “everything is awesome.”

Everyone gets a bailout…except the people that need it

Today an audit commision tells us that the Queen is down to her last million and needs a bailout. The Royal Family have not been served as they should by Treasury (have any of us ever?) meaning the Queen has over spent.

The report comments that cuts to the Royal estate have floated around 5%, much less than the rest of the cuts being experienced by the public sector and the report claimed they could afford to trim some fat there. The report also highlighted the opportunity that could be afforded to the Royals by opening up Buckingham palace on more than the 70 odd days a year it is currently open to the public (when she is out getting the groceries I presume) to increase revenue. At present they get 500,000 visitors a year compared to the Tower of London’s 2million. In addition they stated that they dare not consider closing a palace and that it might be a consideration for another year. You cannot make it up.

In the meantime the rest of us have to sit and watch as A&E dies on its knees, hospitals and fire stations close or are being privatised and our firefighters and police are forced to work on until they are grandparents in what are physically and emotionally demanding jobs. What about teachers you say? Well they work on until even longer whilst the essence of what their profession is gets torn up by Michael Gove and his18th Century views of education and children’s needs.

Put into some context the Queen has;
*A billion pound hat made from blood diamonds (everyone tells a story of death and destruction of a nation because they were considered to be less than human based on the colour of their skin)
*12 white stallion horses pulling a golden carriage,
*A golden throne,
*Recently awarded a pay rise worth £5m to the taxpayer (2013)
*Buckingham Palace has 58 bedrooms, 72 bathrooms (she recently advertised for someone to run baths and get paid £6 something an hour)
*And last year they referred to her as ‘frugal’.

The list could go on but it raises the question why we continue to allow these parasites, that are no better than the so called ‘scum’ everyone has been slating on Channel 4’s Benefits Street, continue to bleed our ficticious economy dry?

The Queen gets bailed out, the bankers who created the economic downturn get bailed out, MPs who were complicit in the recession continue to use taxpayer money to heat horses stables and pay for second homes and all the while continue to piss on us and tell us its raining. If you over spend the bailiffs come and evict you, they over spend and they get a bailout paid for by you.

It’s high time people stopped pledging allegiance to people that loathe and hate us, that do not care about us and we start pledging allegiance to each other as WE are the only ones that have anything in common with each other, far more so than the soul sucking vampires that are preying on our debt and misery.
